Wave Lumina was recognized among the top 64 startups in the Midwest at the Midwest House Startup Competition — an early milestone for the team’s work on Contaminant Field Screening Devices (CFSD) for rapid, on-site detection of PFAS in environmental samples.

At its core, this journey is about collaboration, learning, and pushing the boundaries of environmental science. Being recognized among such a vibrant community of innovators and thinkers reinforced the mission driving Wave Lumina: making a tangible difference in environmental health by finding contamination faster.

A heartfelt thank you to the team — especially Joshua Francis and Nathaniel Peck — whose dedication and expertise are the backbone of this progress, and to the fellow competitors whose passion continues to inspire the work.
