Wave Lumina Attends AquaAction Expedition
The Wave Lumina team had an exciting spring 2024 with the opportunity to attend the AquaAction expedition located in Traverse City Michigan hosted in part by Northwestern Michigan College. This was the First International Aquahacking challenge to include United States and Canadian entrepreneurs specializing in environmental technology and development.
The expedition centered around innovative products and services with a positive impact on the environment and solving issues in the field of water. The categories for companies included microplastics, PFAS, lead, and nutrient cycling. Wave Lumina is focused in solving the difficulties in PFAS screening and providing onsite PFAS detection systems through the patent pending Contamination Field Screening Device or CFSD.
During the expedition teams got the chance to meet with major environmental engineering and remediation firms as well as other industry leaders to forward to the development of new technology. The end goal is simple… save the world’s waters.
